Well, I'm officially annoyed with DA. Again.


I'm waaaaaaaay too sick to work right now. With what is going on with me, my inability to do anything artisticly at all, having an active DA account is pretty goddamn pointless.

On top of that, Deviant Art has fallen victim to its own idiocy; far worse then what was happening several years ago. The in-fighting, the random bannings, and the inability for the admins to get their shit together has lead to a dysfunctional and bi-polar site. You can't run a company like this. I can only guess what the problem is, but I would be willing to put money down that it has something to do with people forging friendships over what matters (business) in a business setting, which DevArt most definately is.

Never let artists run anything.

I'm suprised they can dress themselves in the morning. Anyway, I don't have fucking time for this. The only dissapointment is that I put money down this time like the tard that I am. Eh. Thirty bucks over the course of a year is the same as a chat account on MSN, which I wouldn't do anything with. At least I got a little of something out of this sub... what that is, I'm not quite sure.

For any of you confused about the absense of the HentAi deviation, it was removed by the staff some time back for copyright infringement, since I did not draw the still from whatever hentai the still was taken... though stills (like sound samples) may not be suseptable to copyright laws, which vary country to country. But that really isn't important as I am closing my gallery for the reasons I already listed and was thinking about taking that deviation down anyhow as it drew WAY too much attention for what it was. 14,000+ views for some macro is a little bit stupid. I did note the staff back, as I am confused as to why certain screen caps are copyright infringement and others are not, but I have yet to hear back.

I think DevArt needs to worry less about screen caps and more about all of the blatant unerage nudity that goes unnoticed on their site. I'd institute an adult check-ID for nudes, but hey - that's me. I know, I know... that may stifle someone's "vision", but a few stifled angry-heads is worth several putting a stop to 15,000,000,000 15-year-old Myspace transplanted camwhores and the pedophiles that stalk them with promises of Pocky, con tickets, and Inuyasha trading cards.

All in all, this is getting way too fucking silly.
